We are very grateful for any donation, large or small, which will help to maintain the church, enhance our worship and contribute to our work in the community.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please be aware that any donation you make is worth much more to us if you use Gift Aid.

Planned Giving

The most effective way you can support our church, regardless of the size of donation, is via a regular monthly contribution, ideally through your bank account, utilising Gift Aid.  This is known as Planned Giving

St Peter’s is a member of the Church of England Parish Giving Scheme, which allows individuals to make regular payments direct to the parish of their choice.  It is easy to set up, secure and confidential.  The amount you donate can be varied at any time to suit your circumstances and your contribution will last only as long as you want it to.

To learn more, please speak to the Parish Giving Officer, Neil Hornsby (07980 941650 or neilahornsby@outlook.com). Alternatively at the rear of the church you will find small Parish Giving Scheme packs with all the forms and information for setting up a regular payment.  Please return the completed paperwork in the envelope provided.

Legacies

Please consider remembering St Peter’s church in your will.  Recent bequests have allowed us to embark on larger projects including:

  • replacing the church lighting system
  • replacing the boiler
  •  repair work on the bell tower.

Thank you for your generosity.
