Gift Aid is an initiative run by HMRC which allows you to decide who receives the tax on your donation.  If you are a tax-payer, each one pound you donate is worth an extra 25p to St. Peter’s at no cost to yourself.

In 2019 St Peter’s received about £9,000 in collections which were not Gift Aided. If this money had been given with Gift Aid, it would have been worth £11,250, at no additional cost to the donors.

You can add Gift Aid to

  • cash donations (by using one of the envelopes printed in red at the end of the pews)
  • one-off online gifts through SumUp
  • regular monthly contributions through Planned Giving
