To care for creation, and to sustain and renew the life of the earth, is a vital part of the church\u2019s work. \u00a0Now more than ever we see the urgency of hearing God\u2019s call to care for his world. \u00a0St Peter\u2019s is committed to setting an example in respecting the created world, dealing fairly with all people and treading lightly on the earth.<\/p>\r\n

\"\"<\/a>As a church community we are delighted to have achieved Silver Eco-Church<\/a> status, taking actions including reducing our carbon footprint by using green electricity, buying environmentally friendly products, recycling and reusing wherever possible, encouraging wildlife into our churchyard, and promoting more sustainable transport.
