St Peter’s School: great history, great present, great future
St Peter’s Church is blessed in its very strong links with the local Church Foundation primary school. Founded in 1857, St Peter’s School has developed an outstanding reputation for all-round education, enabling every child to achieve their full potential within a caring Christian community. Its vision is ‘For the children to realise their God-given gifts and talents, and grow following the example of Jesus.’
Matthew 19:26- Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible.”
Revd. Jane leads worship weekly in the school, and school services take place in the church every term. Children and staff from the school are regularly involved in our Sunday worship, and displays of their work decorate the church. We are privileged to play a part in nurturing the community of the future, and enriched by their insightful contributions to our work and worship.
